According to the report of the Canadian Pacific Railway, tourist travel to the National Parks of Canada reached a record in 1924, when a total of over ' 270,000 persons visited the 13 parks in the various parts of the Dominion. The Rocky Mountain Park led in popularity ! with a total of 104,241 visitors, followed by the St. Lawrence Island parks with 40,000 and Point, Pelee Park with 1 30,000.
