FEDERAL LABOUR AVOIDS PARTY SPLIT.
MELBOURNE, June 23. The Federal executive of the Australian Labour Party has decided to make the referendum a non-party question and to allow the members of the party a free hand on the issue. This decisibn has averted a party split.
