RUGBY LEAGUE GAMES WILL BE PLAYED NEXT SATURDAY.

The match committee of the Canterbury Rugby League has decided to continue its competitions next Saturday. Recently th* Canterbury Hockey Association asked ' that the games be postponed owing to the match between New Zealand and the Indian Army hockey teams at Lancaster Park on that clay. The committee has. decided, that .as several representative matches have yet to be decided, and no competition games were played last Saturday, it would not be fair to "the players to postpone the matches, thus -making a’ three-weeks’ break in the competitions.
