EXPRESS “SLEEPER” RUNS SMOOTHLY.
VERY SATISFACTORY TRIAL CONDUCTED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. June 21 The new express sleeper completed its first trial run from Wellington to Auckland this morning, the officials aboard expressing the greatest satisfacMr Mackley, locomotive engineer for the North Island, said that she has done well, and at forty-five miles per hour running was quiet and smooth. It was a most satisfactory trial in every way.
