SYDNEY BEFOGGED.
THOUSANDS REACH WORK LATE DAILY. UNPRECEDENTED WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAIL. Ey Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received June 22, 0.40 a.m.) SYDNEY. June 22. The weather conditions prevailing in Sydney this winter are unprecedented. Since Tuesday last there has been a fog every morning, several of them of extraordinary density. In former winters two or even three fogs have occurred on successive days, but the weather bureau records dating back to 1859 do not show conditions similar to those at present existing. Ferry traffic on the harbour is badly disorganised and some boats are held up for hours. Thousands of people arrive late for work daily. The railway services are also seriously interrupted. There have been several minor mishaps and collisions, but fortunately nobody has been injured.
