NOTES BY SPECIAL CONTRIBUTORS. p

blue. These pale colours mixed with blade are the rage at the moment. Seagreen collars and cuffs, and sleeves of all sorts—undcrslips even, are much worn. Practically everyone has an old black frock of some description—and if you have, you can label it “the very latest” with the help of a yard or two of some pastel shade material. And with it insert large sleeves into your sleeveless black frock. That the smartest way to transform a long-sleeved, tight-fitting old black velvet frock is to cut its sleeves off to the elbow.
