WEMBLEY CLUB.
St Mary’s Hall, Manchester Street, was beautifully decorated last evening for the Wembley Club’s carnival dance. Many and varied were the designs and colourings of the frocks, and the wearers had certainly entered into the spirit of the dance, which proved most successful. During the evening an exhibition dance was given by Iris Beaumont and Marjorie M’Donald, two small pupils of Miss Bessie Macdonald. The music for the dancing was supplied by Marston’s Orchestra.
