AUSTRALIA HAS HAD GOOD YEAR. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received June 5, 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 5. The annual report of the Department of Mines for 1925 shows that the output for the year was valued at £19,109,000, constituting a record, being £486,000 in excess of the figures for 1924. The silver mines contributed chiefly to this result, their yield amounting to £6,343,000, an increase of £636,000 over the previous year. The coal won amounted to 11,396,000 tons valued at ££9,302,000 representing 222,000 tons and £287.000 in value less than 1924.
