POULTRY ADVERTISING.
To the Editor. Sir, —In last Saturday’s “Star,” I read an advertisement in your For Sale columns advertising 5 pullets and one rooster for sale, apply Y 257. (I am not too sure now about the number). However, I replied to it on Monday morning, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope for reply which I never got. I think that the advertiser might have had the courtesy to reply, it is not the first time that the same thing has happened, this fact has prompted me to pen these few lines. Perhaps the poor creatures might be hard up for a penny stamp and are to be excused.—l am, etc., INDIGNANT.
