At the inquest on Harry Booth, who was killed by the collision of a . new limousine with a post at Papakura shortly before midnight on January 22, the Coroner (Mr Poynton, S.M.) found that deceased was accidentally killed. He said Joseph Mercer was a competent driver, but the car was driven too fast. Mercer was to blame for not applying the brakes when he felt that something was wrong with the car.
