INDIAN ARMY TEAM DEFEATS WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 3. Spectacular hockey was witnessed today. when the Indian, Army team and Wellington representatives met. and it undoubtedly was the finest exhibition of the game that has been witnessed in Wellington. The attendance was thirteen thousand. The visitors showed marvellous combination, and seemed to anticipate each other's movements. Play was very fast, and shifted from end to'end with lightning rapidity. Wellington were enthusiastically cheered when they netted the first goal. Knowles, who was responsible, netted a second time, but was offside. In the first half Captain Bellchamber scored two goals. Captain Cox one and Dhian Chand two. In the second spell Captain Bellchaniber scored two and Dhian Chand one. while Francis and Jacobsen scored for Wellington.
