Surrey.—ln the first innings Lancashire made ISI (Makepeace 65). Fender took six for 16. In the second innings they made 253 (E. Tyldesiey 97). Surrey in the first innings made 27S (Shepherd 57. Ducat 116. Fender 56. including 42 off two overs from Sibbles. one six and five fours in the first, two sixes and two twos in the second). Sibbles took six for 93. The second innings score was 124 (Hobbs 49>. M'Donald took four for 35. Lancashire won by thirty-four runs. Hampshire v. Sussex.- Hampshire scoaed 350 (Brown 64, Mead 65. Jamieson 54, Boyes 50). In the second they scored 111 for no wickets (Rowell, not out, 52, Newman, not out, 50'. Sussex in the first innings made 126 (Wensley 56). Boyes took six for 23. In the second they scored 333 (Langridge 87, -A. H. Gilligan 70b Kennedy took five for 95. Hampshire won by ten wickets. Kent v. Yorkshire.—Kent made 206 (Hardinge 75). Macaulay took five for 65. In the second innings the score was 236 (Hardinge GO. Woolley, not out, 94). Yorkshire in the first made 242 (Sutcliffe 68, Holmes 56). Wright took four for 31. In the second they scored 71 for no wickets. The match was drawn. Playing for Leicester against Essex. Geary took five for 41 and Skelding five for 41 in the first innings. Geary took four for 42 and Astill five for 47 in the second. Leicester \von. For Worcester against Gloucester Root took five for 90. For Gloucester Mills took five for 57 and Parker four for 44. Gloucester won. For Glamorgan against Derby Bates scored 100 not out. Ryan took four for 47 and Mercer five for 50. Glamorgan won. For Notts against Warwick Larwcod took four for 2S. For Warwick. Wyatt took four for 43. Notts won.
