WOOLSTON BAND HAS SUCCESSFUL YEAR.

The annual meeting of the TYoolston Band was held last night in the Band I-lall, Mr 11. B. Owen presiding over a good attendance. The annual report for the thirty-fifth ' year of the hand's existence stated that it had turned out on fifty-five occasions during the year. Twenty performances i had been given gratuitously. Eleven ' i Sunday evening concerts had been given , in Victoria Square, the collections averj aging £l4. Out of nine municipal con- - • certs allotted to the band, eight, had ! been fulfilled, and during the winter ! I three concerts bad been «given in aid . of the unemployed fund.
