AUCKLAND AUDIENCE CHEERS PAVLOVA.
QUEEN OF DANCING HAS GREAT RECEPTION. Never has a New Zealand audience displayed such wonderful enthusiasm as was shown in Auckland last night at Pavlova’s initial appearance A telegram to the “ Star ” states that the famous dancer was greeted with cheers when first she appeared, and as the performance proceeded so did the enthusiasm increase. At the close the audience stood up en masse and cheered Pavlova. Undoubtedly it was the greatest night in the theatrical history of Auckland.
