At a conference of delegates of the South Island Agricultural and Pastoral Association, a motion was carried that agricultural requirements could best be met by concentration of all available funds in the establishment of a single, fully-staffed and equipped Agricultural College, and that the Government should defer its decision as tot location of this one Agricultural College until opportunity was given to such parts of the Dominion as may desire, giving evidence as to the suitability of their districts for the ptirpose.
