Timaru Customs Returns.
The Customs revenue collected at Timaru last month totalled £11.679 12 j 4-1, as compared with £SS93 11s 9d in 75»y of last year. The return of vital statistics for Timaru for the month just ended shows an all round increase as compared with the figures for May of last year. Last Wnonth births totalled 29, as against 31 Inst May, and deaths numbered 12 and It respectively. There was a decrease of five in marriages, the figures being 11 last month and 16 in May. 1925.
