In the House of Commons Sir Burton Chadwick, in reply to a question, said that the amount of the rebate during 1924 oil preferential imports into Australia xvas £7,700,000, representing twelve per certt. of fhfc x-alue. Other approximate preferences were: South Africa, £800,600. Canada, £2,250,000. New Zealand, £2,500,600. Figures for i 925 are riot available.
