TEACHERS ARRIVE FROM ENGLAND; MET BY CHIEF INSPECTOR.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 1. Four teachers, Misses Watson (2) (London County Council), Garrett and Hurst (Tottenham) arrived by the Ulimaroa to-da3*, and were welcomed by Mr Strong, Chief Inspector, and members of the Education Department and board. The Misses Watson are folk dance specialists, and have been allocated to Auckland and Whakatane, Miss Hurst to Wellington, and Miss Garrett to Wairoa. The visitors will be guests of the Educational Institute to-morrow, prior to leaving for their final destinations.
