HE STOLE BUTTER.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 24. Leslie Jordan Nielsen, aged '27 in the Magistrate's Court admitted ’ the theft, of 12 pounds of butter, the property of the Federal Steam Navigation Coy. The theft was observed bv a constable on wharf duty. The Magistreat refused to allow probation in a case of cargo pillaging and imposed a *eutence of three weeks’ imprison ment.
