MILDEW ON CLOTHES.
Mildew stains may be removed from clothes by mixing soft soap and powdered starch and half the quantity of salt moistened with lemon-juice into a thick paste. This should be applied to the stains with a soft brush and left for some hours, when the clothes may be washed in the ordinary waj*.'
