ARGUMENT OVER FOOTBALL GROUND.

THREE RIVAL CODES REACH AGREEMENT. (Special to the “Star.”) GREYMOUTH, May 22. After discussion which lasted an hour and a half three football codes reached an amicable arrangement last evening regarding the use of the placing area at the recreation ground this season. H* T. Doogan, representing the Greymouth Borough Council, presided, and the following delegates were present.—Messrs Ryan and Kyle (Rugby). Messrs M Kane and Wingham (League), Messrs Sharpe and Cook (Association). It was decided that the Rugby Union shall have the use of the ground for three Saturdays, one in each of the months of June, July and August, dates to be arranged later; the League and Association codes to arrange dates between themselves. T n the event of any dispute a further conference wiU be held.
