TO-DAY’S GAMES. The third round of the Canterbury Association's competitions was played to-day. The weather was fine but *the grounds were heavy. SYDENHAM v. SELWYN. Selwyn had the better of the opening stages of the game and J. Squire put in a shot which Snooks cleared cleverly. Selwyn kept on the attack and had several fruitless penalty corners. “Sticks ” in the circle lost Selwyn a few chances of scoring.
