UNION SECRETARY RETURNS GIFT CAR TO EMPLOYER.

ployer. The gift raised a sharp controversy, recalling the gift to Mr Ramsay MacDonald, as to whether a trade union loader should accept a present from his employer.
Mr llall says; "The donor knows 1 cannot be induced to sell my fellowworkers. Nevertheless. I am returning the ear to prevent a misunderstanding."
