KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION.

The .monthly meeting: of the Creche and Kindergarten Association was held in the Y.M.C.A. when there was a largre attendance of members. The committee took the opportunity of welcomingMrs IT. T. .T. Thacker back as president of the association after her prolonged absence in England. The monthly reports from the five schools were quite satisfactory; only colds and minor ailments being reported. Subscriptions from the schools are as follow:-—Sun-beam £5 3s 6d, PhJllipstown £4 17s 6d, Sydenham £2 10s 6d, Selwyn £2 Is 9d, Richmond £4 10s fid. Attendances were

All work connected with the different schools is going on quite satisfactorily. Sunbeam held their children’s fancy dress party iast. Saturday, and intend holding a bridge party' in a few weeks. Selwyn held their annual garden fete which was a very successful function, the

amount taken being £4l. They also held an “Open Morning" and Harvest Festival, the children bringing gift*- of fruit and produce. Richmond Kindergarten also held a. Harvest £ csthal which realised £2 15s.
