FASTER LOOSE.
MAD ON SIXTEENTH DAY. LONDON. April 21. THE Berlin police have forbidden further fasting exploits, because “ Nicky,” the German acrobat who was trying to establish a fasting record of 15 days, went mad on the 16th day, smashed the glass wall of his cage with his fist, and ran, bleeding, into the street, where he collapsed. “ Nicky " was sealed in his cage with 300 bottles of mineral water and 3000 cigarettes.
