PENALTIES FOR CRIME.
PRISONERS SENTENCED IN WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 26. In the Supreme Court, prisoners were sentenced today:— Margruette Griffin Fisher, for theft was admitted to probation for two years. William Thomas Mouat, for theft, was sentenced to three months* hard labour on one charge, and on others was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon. Walter Honey, for theft, was sentenced to six months hard labour.
