Fverett took five wickets for 91, Mailey two for 94. New South Wales won by an innings and 96. The weather was hot, and the wicket good. Ponsford played a fast. ehanc.eless innings, scoring rapidly, but Woodfull. the only other batsman to withstand the bowling, played slow and careful cricket. Everett bowled magnificently, the majority of the visitors fluding his unplayable. The scores were:— Victoria— First innings . . . 290 Second innings . . 322 612 New South Wales— First inpings . 70S
