In the motor-cycle tests at the Maroubra speedway, Spencer Stratton, of New Zealand, rode setond to Brown in the Maroubra gold helmet event, a ten miles dash.. The winner averaged ninety-one iflilqs an hour, the fastest lap being done at the rate of ninetyseven mills.
