Mr F. W. Flanagan, 0.8. E., who has retired from the position of ValuerGeneral after fifty-five years’ service with the Government, was met by the staff of the Valuation Department at Wellington on Wednesday, and presented with a cheque for over £SO, with which to purchase presents for Mrs Flanagan and himself. The Hon W. Xosworthy, Minister in Charge of the Valuation Department, made the presentation.
