BUT FINDS ONE IN QUESTION DATES FROM EARLY SAXON TIMES. LONDON, December 9. An American named Tattenham Corner has written to the Epsom Council, declaring that he believed himself to be the only person of that name in the world. lie had recently heard that the name belonged to a part of Epsom racecourse, and was very anxious to trace why it had been used in that connection. The council replied that it was believed that the name was used before America was discovered, and that it belonged to Saxon times, being originally spelt “Tatenam."
