I understand that Steve Donoghue, the famous jockey, has signed ;t contract to appear in six racing dramas for ihe screen, says the kinemn. correspondent of the “ Daily Express.” The stories will be fictional, and will present Donoghue simply as himself. though he may be called on to do some ial acting whenever the narrative happens to touch a love interest. Woolf’s organisation to coincide -with next year’s great sporting the first during Dined n Week the last during Derby Week. Mr Jeffrey Bernard, late of the Stoll organisation, is responsible for this deal, and the producer will he Mr Walter West, who has specialised in lacing dramas. The heroine has not jet been selected.
