WEDDINGS.

BORRELL—THATCHER. At St Mary's Church, Geraldine, on November 12. the marriage was solemnised of Evelyn, younger daughter of Mrs J. Thatcher, Raukapuka, Geraldine, and George William, second son of Mr and Mrs G. Borrell of “The AVilfbws,” Belfield. The Rev P. J. Cocks, was the officiating clergyman. The church had been effectively decorated by friends of t.hc bride. The service was choral, Miss Hughes being at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a gown of cream trimmed with beautiful old lace, while the bridal veil fell in graceful folds to the hem of her skirt, and was secured on the head by a circlet of pearls. Her bouquet was composed of cream roses, stocks, sweet peas, aquilezias and asparagus fern. Ihe bridesmaids were Misses Hilda Henderson. (Christchurch), and Grace Hewsou (Geraldine) - and three little children, niece and nephews of the bride, also attended her.
