Making the. trip in three hours actual flying time the' aeroplanes from the Wigram aerodrome which went to Dunedin for the opening of the exhibition returned to Sockburn yesterday. The machines, which were piloted by Captain L. Isitt, Captain Findlay, and Lieut llorrell, were required to stop only once to take in fuel. The break in the journey was made at Timaru. The pilots were favoured with a strong wind behind them.
