COFFIN AS GIFT.
LONDON, Nov. 6. SI GN O R GABRIEI.LI, the octogenarian caretaker of the Rome Observatory, presented his wife with a coffin as a golden wedding gift. He. proudly showed their guests his own and his wife’s collins, side by side, and explained that he had bought a grave and had paid the grave-diggers and the sexton, not wishing to cause, trouble to their relatives.
