Williams, in a remarkable performance at Long Island, using a tiny aeroplane, covered five miles at a .speed of 302 miles an hour. Tic travelled so fast, he declared, that when he put his hand out the wind was so strong that it was like forcing his hand into a spurting fire hydrant.
