The police stated that accused induced the licensee's wife to produce sonic paper money lo create an “atmosphere of the future,” and she disclosed a roll of £OO. One of the accused then commanded the subject to look Iter straight in the face. What happened after that is a mystery, but. some time after the publican found that £4O were missing. The women were waylaid at the Railway Station and almost all of the money was recovered. Accused pleaded guilty and agreed to make full restitution of the missing Tn convicting accused the Magistrate said that they must leave the district at once.
