Pangolos has definitely assumed the Premiership and hopes to form a Cabinet, in which he also will be Minister of War. The public is straneelv unmoved by the dramatic events of the day. which moved with astonishing rapidity and secrecy. M. Pangolos has issued a manifesto that he is merely carrying out the wishes of the people, who demanded the redemption and purification of Greece. The situation is now most calm. M. Michalacopoulos refused to resign until -Admiral Iladjikyraikos shelled the presidential palace.
