FAREWELL TO REGISTRAR.
Members of the legal profession assembled at tiie Supreme Court Library yesterday afternoon to bid farewell to the Registrar. Mr \Y. \Y. Samson, who lia>* been promoted to the position of Registrar ot the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal :) i Wellington. The president <Mr W. J. Hunter) occupied the chair and congratulated Mr Samson on attaining the “blue ribbon’ 5 Cl the Department of •Justice. Messrs M. J. Gressort. F. W. Johnston, A. T. Donnelly and J. A. Donga 11 also expressed their appreciation of the kindly relations which have existed between Air Samson and member- of the 1 legal profession
