The. North Canterbury Hospital Board, on Hie motion of Mrs W. G. Roberts, to-day passed the following resolution :—" That tho North Canterbury Hospital Board congratulates thu Minister of Health on the very com prehensive report on mental defectives issued by the committee of inquiry, and it sincerely trusts that the valuable recommendations contained in the report will bo given- effect to without unnecessary delay.”
