BUBONIC PLAGUE.
SUSPECT IN BRISBANE. STRINGENT PRECAUTIONS. By Telegraph.—Frees Assn.—Copyright. Aus. A X.Z. Cable Association. (Received Tune 24. 11.25 a.m.) BRISBANE, June 24. A suspected case of bubonic plague has been discovered. The suspect is a young woman, who was employed in a laundry. She developed symptoms which were clinically diagonised by two doctors as suspected plague, but a conclusive bacteriological examination has yet to be completed. In the meantime the patient has been removed to the- infectious diseases hospital. Other stringent precautions have been adopted.
