“ BEST STARTING POINT.” Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received June 22. 1 p.m.) PARIS, June 21. Thc “Petit Parisien's” Berlin correspondent says that, the British Charge d'Affaires called on Herr Stresemann and emphasised the importance the British Government attaches to thc proposals in the French Note in regard to security. lie declared that the Note formed the best possible starting point in the negotiations between Germany and the Allies.
