CITY NOT FAVOURED.
BOUNDARY COMMISSION. The hearing of the petition from residents in a portion of Bryndwr asking that an area in that district should be separated from the city and included in Waimairi County was advanced a further stage this afternoon when the hearing of evidence was continued by the Commission. The Commission consisted of Messrs Wyvern Wilson, S.M., G. 11. Bullard (Commissioner of Crown Lands), W. 11. Pullar (Valuation Department). The portion of the district which it is asked should be restored to the county i.= bounded by Wairarapa Road, and traverses part of Bligh’s Road and Idris Road, and abuts on the Bryndwr railway station. Mr J. J. Dougall appeared for the petitioners and Mr C. P. Agar and Mr M'Carthy for the City Council. (Proceeding.)
