THE JOLLY ENTOMOLOGIST.
BY
SINBAD.
The jolly entomologists in conference at Home have met, and from their hearts all carping care is banished far away, though talk of trouble still persists, and things in China frantic get, the hunting up of insect life still holds them in its swa\'. The standard may return to gold, the Yankees strive to smuggle rum, Amundsen find a savage race inhabiting the Pole, unheeded still the tale is told, for earnestly they’re seeking some, new shapes or shades of bees or bugs to bring joy to their soul. The Bolsheviki, reckless men. may seek to spread their terror red, the Huns refuse to pay their debts, and France demand her rights, and it is not within our ken what woes for Europe are ahead, but that is nothing to the men who hunt these parasites. When cares and troubles oft oppress, and rates and taxes heavy grow, wc ought to take a lesson from the entomologist, he does not snivel in distress, but seeks another bug or so, that he can give a Latin name and add on to his list.
