A ROYAL MATCH. (Received June zu, p.mJ ROME. June 19. Prince Philip cf Hes&e served in the German army, and has lived here almost continuously since the war. The announcement ot his engagement has given rise to speculation, because the Prince is a Protestant and Princess jkafaida is a Roman Catholic. The Rome correspondent of the “ Daily Express says it is believed that the Roman Church will allow the marriage according to its rites, each partner retaining his or her religion, but the children will be trained as Roman Catholics.
