Western kicked off against. Nomads on a very wet ground at Linwood Park. Within a minute of the start, Notnaas went sjwny with Chapman, the speeuy left winger, m possession. He boat tne opposition and transferred to J. M'Dongall, who beat Andrew, the Western keeper, with a hot shot. Western did not show to good advantage in tiie first half, and Chapman got away frequently, always transferring to ,T. M Dougall, but the centre-forward missed several open goals through beslEiooy. d'owards the close of the spell. Western began to go better, and Whittington and Norric were prominent, the latter making two good efforts, both of which Jackson cleared. Nouiads 1. Western 0. The final score was: NOMADS . . .
