RESCUE OF CHILDREN FROM FIRE.

At the inquest on the death of a child of six years, who was burnt to death in a house at Tawa Flat, the coroner highly commended the gallantry of Milton Mexted and Gordon Staples, who rescued ■Wo other children from the burning building.
