Tho Canterbury Methodist Ladies’ Missionary Auxiliary opened a two flags’ bazaar in tho Durham Street Schoolroom yesterday afternoon. Tho sale was officially opened by Mr J. A. Flcslier, in the presence of a large number of prospective buyers. There i was an excellent disnlay of goods, and j judging by tho business done ’the re- I suits should be very satisfactory. The '■ sale v ill bo continued this i. tie moon j and evening, when it is hoped that j the amount aimed at will be realised. A short musical programme will be j given this evening.
