DANGEROUS DRIVING.
MOTORIST IN COURT. “ CONDUCT WAS BAD.” Negligent driving of a motor-car resulted in a motorist having his license suspended for six months by Mr Wyveru ■Wilson. S.M.. at the Magistrate' i Court to-day. In addition he was lined £O. The motorist. Herbert G. "Wilton, was charged w ith having driven a. motor-car in a dangerous manner in Page’s Rood, and with having failed to report an accident to the police. He was also charged with negligent driving. Senior-Sergeant Lew in said that Wil ton had collided with a cvelist in Page's Road on April 13, and ho had not reported the accident. A witness who described the accident to the Court said that the defendant had refused to take the injured cyclist homo. Wilton's conduct was ,very bad. The defendant admitted failing to report the affair, but denied the other charges. Ho said that lie did not know that accidents had to be re(>n the charge of driving in a dangerous manner, Wilton was fined l‘J and ordered to pav costs. On t!i • other two charges ho was ordered t » piy costs. His driver’s license was also suspended for six months.
