MOTOR STOCK’S AMAZING RISE. NEW YORK. June 0. Lila Lee. the him actress, accumulated a fortune in the recent amazing advance of the Maxwell motor stock, trading in which was suspended today by the Stock Exchange because a natural corner had developed. Class “A” stocks rose from 74 dollars in January to 121 dollars on Monday, while Class “B” rose from 33 dollars to 127 dollars. Very fev%* made money, but hundreds are short and are wondering how to pay for/ the stock now that trading has ended. The corner was caused by the readjustment which was announced in April, when the Crysler Corporation was absorbed.
