Parsonson, to Gerald, second sou ol Mr and Mrs W. H. Green, of Seatoun, Wellington. The Rev W. B a umber olliciated ul the ceremony. The bride’s frock was of ivory l georgette, finely pleated, over duchesso satin. A narrow panel of silver tissue was inset at the left side, and r folds of the same material from the right shoulder, formed a wide bow at J the hip, finished with an ostrich feather, and fell from thence as a train. The graceful veil was arranged in mob-cap style, banded with a narrow circlet of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of white cyclamen, azaleas and fern. She was given a wav by her brother, Mr G. F. Parsonson. "She was attended by two maids in frocks of cyclamen georgette over white satin, Miss Madge Parsonson, her sister, and little Celia Reese, her niece. Miss Parsonscn’s sleeveless frock was made with a gathered circular flounce fali- • ing across the front, from one side of the low waist-line to tho hem, and was finished with a- large posy of guv velvet flowers in contrasting shades. Ihe frock of the younger maid had a gathered front flounce, and was edged with, small scallops, with a tiny silver rose in each. Their hats were of silver tissue, with brims of silver lace, and streamers fell to the hems of their frocks from large rosettes of petunia velvet cords. Roth maids wore gloves to the wrist, edged with a narrow silver ruching, and carried* bouquets of i cyclamen-pink chrysanthemums to har- . monise with their frocks, with a few touches of white flowers deftly introduced. Mr Bruiiton "Williams, of Wellington, was best man. Bridal musio was played by Mrs Buxton. Only relatives and a feiv close friends were present at the small reception which was held afterwards at the residence of Mr and Mrs I>aniel Reese, Cashmere. Mrs Reese, sister of the bride, wore a very smart frock of gen- | darme-blue si 11c embroidered matalasse. Jameson, aunt of the bride, was of black garbircord. and with it , she wore a becoming black plush hat. Of black brocaded maroca-in was Mrs G. F. Parsonson’s frock, relieved with touches of cerise, and h« r black hat, was effectively trimmed with motifs of the same vivid shade. Miter! the bride and bridegroom left ■ on t netr wedding tour, an uncommon frock of brown kasha, with a sloeve- . less tunic of Oriental wool brocade, suited the former admirably, while the small hat of brown duvetyn. worn with it. had an outstanding mount of brightly-shaded feathers.
